I’m sure some of you want to punch me in the face just for writing the title! But if that’s how you feel, then this post is just as much for you as it is for the rest of us. Monday is the unofficial start to the week. It’s a chance to come back refreshed from the weekend and put energy towards what is most important to you.
Are you starting some diet or other resolution today? If so, go for it and don’t over think it. You have a plan in place, just follow the plan. You’ll be proud of yourself at the end of the day.
If you are dreading heading into the office or other workplace, you might need to shift your focus. Look in the mirror and ask yourself if it is your negative attitude that is adding to you destain for you job. If so, look at the positives of the jobs more than the negatives. Be grateful for the job and refocus your energy.
Sometimes, on the other hand, the job just sucks. In that case you need to refocus as well. If it’s that bad, focus your energy on looking for an escape route. There might be another opportunity out there that will make you happy and fulfilled in your career. Don’t stay in a miserable situation because you are scared of change. As much as the fear of changing could be painful for a short period of time, it is much more painful to continue to go to a miserable work environment for another 5 years!!
Whatever your direction, focus on having fun while you figure it out. Life is too short!!
