Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone is looking forward to a happy and safe weekend.  For many of you this is a chance to get away from your stressful job or school.  Like anything else, plan time for the things that are important to you.  I’ve had many Sundays where I looked back and felt  I had wasted the weekend.  Whether it was for not completed a personal project, exercise, or simply not putting quality time with my family first, I felt that I could’ve done more.

Don’t be like the old me.  Be proactive, be present, and don’t sleep or party all weekend with scheduling to for what’s truly important.

Me… I’m looking forward to an amazing weekend with my fiance and kids laughing, playing, and hopefully snow!!  I’ll find time to exercise and work on the house as well, but not at the expense of doing what’s most important!

Never stop believing in yourself!  Talk to you tomorrow πŸ™‚

  1. I love you! We are going to have an amazing weekend filled with laughter and family. We’re going to spend some quality time together. And, as always, I support you stepping away to focus on yourself-at the gym, blogging, or just napping to relax. I’ve got your back and I’m so proud of you for working so hard to becoming a better version of yourself….

I love the new you, but for the record I loved the old you too. Either way it’s still you. You’re the same intelligent, handsome, successful, kind, loving man you always were-just with a few personal upgrades! ❀ ❀ ❀

  2. Very true! I plan for just hanging out with my family and then anything with them goes…that’s never a wasted weekend. They go so damn fast anyway… Happy Saturday to you!

  4. Thank you for reminding me of what is important in life. I get so caught up in doing for everyone and forget to give my husband some of my time and to do self-care. I learned the hard way that if you do not take care of yourself, then the people who depend on you and whom you list as first, second, and third on your list of importance will not do well either. It is not selfishness; it’s good old common sense. Thanks for liking my last post. It meant a lot to me! Merry Christmas to you and yours. Be safe and happy! Regina.
